We compile these recommendations into comprehensive guides delivered via our website and email.

Our travel guides are generated using AI technology that synthesizes information from publicly available sources. While we strive for accuracy and quality:

• No Guarantee of Accuracy: We do not guarantee that all information in our guides is accurate, complete, or current. Business hours, prices, and availability may change
• User Verification: We recommend verifying important details (reservations, hours, prices) directly with businesses before visiting
• Source Attribution: Recommendations are compiled from third-party sources. We include source links where available but are not responsible for third-party content
• Personal Responsibility: You use our recommendations at your own risk. We are not liable for any experiences, incidents, or damages resulting from following our recommendations

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by LocalGems and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Travel guides generated for you are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share guides with friends and family but may not resell or commercially distribute them without our written permission.

Payments and Donations

LocalGems offers both free and paid services, as well as the option to make voluntary donations:

• Free Guides: Basic travel guides are provided free of charge
• Paid Services: Premium guides and subscriptions are subject to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase
• Donations: Voluntary donations support our family project and are not refundable
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service
• Refunds: For paid subscriptions, we offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee. Contact us within 7 days for a full refund

User Content and Submissions

When you submit suggestions, feedback, or other content to LocalGems (such as through our Suggestion Board or contact form), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display that content for the purpose of improving our services.

You retain ownership of your content but represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
